The foundation of all we do at Page 15, our “I Love Rough Drafts” philosophy helps young authors cultivate a fearless and authentic approach to writing.
The philosophy is based on four core principles:
We believe every voice is distinct and deserves to be heard. Our programs empower students to express their personal stories using their own unique voices.
Students share their stories in a safe and supportive community, which helps them develop empathy, build strong relationships, and learn to advocate for others.
Like learning an instrument or playing a sport, writing takes practice. We teach children the power of writing consistently.
We infuse high-quality creativity in all our work and encourage students to think creatively and play with language in innovative ways.
